Iwondering if the lower engine RPM caused by richening the engine is disguised the real problem? Is there such thing as a lean condtion missfire? Iwonder if the frequency of the rotor/bearings is messing up communications with the transmitter? (Im using a Futabl FM transmiiter/receiver). This seemed to help but did not totally cure the problem. Tonight I decided to richen the engine up quite a bit. With high RPM the problem isreal noticable. The symptoms are a mis fire sound coming from the engine and a tail twitch symutanously. At first I thought it was low batteries causing the receiver to loose com with the transmitter but anymore Iwondering if it isn't the engine missfiring as Iruled out the batteries.
The heli seems to studder or twitch ever so aften as Its flying, high idle, and hovering. Ihave a problem with my new Raptor that I struggling to diagnose. Maybe missfire is not the best word to describe my problem but:
